| Our
bookshop is in the Madrid of the Austrias section of Madrid,
specifically in an area known as the District of the Letters. This neighborhood has been home to such authors as Cervantes, Lope de Vega, Quevedo, and Moratin. Also in the immediate area, you'll find the Royal Academy of History, the Royal Academy of Language, the Athenian of Madrid, the Prado Museum, the Museum Reina Sofia, the Museum Thyssen Bornemisza, the Circle of Fine Arts and the Royal Conservatory of Music. In addition to having easy access to so many important cultural landmarks, you'll be able to breathe the atmosphere of this historic district, getting a sense of old Madrid. Within a few minutes stroll of our bookshop are the venerable Puerta de Alcala, the Park of the Buen Retiro, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace.
